External Outreach Tutor - 2.5 hrs a day 5 days a week - Wakefield

Go Global is working in partnership with Premier Education and a Specialist Education Centre in Wakefield who are looking for a specialist Outreach Tutor for a student 2.5 hours a day 5 days a week. The student requires tuition off-site meaning this may be carried out at their home, in a public library or other public space - any staff interested must be resilient and have good behaviour management skills.     


The centre is a specialist education provider for KS4 students who have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school. They offer a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum which is both challenging and personalised to meet individual student needs.  For candidates interested you must meet the below:   


Requirements  

  • Teaching qualification 
  • Experience working with learners with SEMH 
  • Able to provide a broad curriculum in relation to Maths, English and other subjects 
  • GCSE teaching experience
  • Own or have use of a car 
  • Comfortable working 1:1 off site
  • DBS certificate on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one

School Administrator - Wakefield - ASAP Start

Go Global is working in partnership with Premier Education and a Specialist Education Centre in Wakefield who are looking for 2 school admin staff to start ASAP.   


The centre is a specialist education provider for KS4 students who have been permanently excluded from their mainstream school. They offer a broad, balanced and relevant curriculum which is both challenging and personalised to meet individual student needs.  For candidates interested you must meet the below:   


Requirements  

  • Experience working in a School / Education Administration role 
  • Familiar with various Administrative duties such as: word processing, money handling etc.  
  • Level 2 or above qualification or explicit administrative experience 
  • DBS certificate or be willing to apply for a new one  
  • Available ASAP to start

SEND Teacher - Primary - Droylsden - March Start

SEND Teacher - Droylsden - March Start


Go Global is working in partnership with an SEMH school who are looking for a resilient and committed teacher to work with them from March 2022. This is a long term contract and could be permanent for the right person.   


The school caters for learners with a range of needs including: Challenging behaviour, SEMH, SEBD and ASD and is looking for a resilient Primary Teacher who has strong behaviour management skills but also a nurturing approach.   


Requirements  

  • Resilience and ability to think on feet 
  • Passion and commitment 
  • Experience teaching learners with additional needs / from vulnerable backgrounds 
  • Available in March for a full time and long term post 
  • Teaching Qualification with QTS 
  • Child and Adult Workforce DBS or be willing to apply for a new one  
  • Additional training for MAPA / Team Teach - ideal

SEND Teaching Assistant - Oldham - ASAP Start

SEND Teaching Assistant – Oldham – ASAP


Go Global Education is working in partnership with Premier Education for a client based in Oldham who are looking for an SEND Support Worker to start ASAP and on a long term basis. This role is full time and long term working Monday – Friday between the hours of 8.30AM and 3.30PM. 


The school is an SEMH setting and caters for students with a range of needs at KS4 and KS5. Therefore, any applicants must be resilient and committed as the learners require consistency to limit confusion or meltdowns.

Requirements 

  • Experience working with SEMH learners or learners with SEND 
  • Experience working with learners at KS3, KS4 or KS5

  • Candidates with experience working in Health and Social Care, Care Homes, Palliative or other types of Care / Medical / Support Work Environments will be considered 
  • Minimum Level 2 Qualification in a care related subject 
  • Additional training in MAPA, Team Teach or other SEND related topics are ideal although not essential

Humanities Teacher - Failsworth - ASAP Start

Humanities Teacher - Failsworth - March / April Start


Go Global Education is working in partnership with Premier Education for a client based in Failsworth who are looking for a Humanities Teacher to start ASAP for a Maternity Cover. This role is full time and long term working Monday – Friday between the hours of 8.30AM and 3.30PM. 


The school is a specialist provider of Autism Education and supports students with a range of ASD from Low to High Functioning. At KS3 the candidate will be expected to provide Geography and History in line with the National Curriculum and then at KS4 the following: 


Year 11 - Edexcel iGCSE Geography - Topics including: Rivers and Flooding, Hazardous Environments, Globalisation and Economic Engery and Activity 


Year 10 - Edexcel iGCSE History - Topics including: Germany 1914-15, Medicine, Superpower Relations 1943-1972 and USA 1918 - 41. 


Experience within an ASD setting is highly preferable however not essential and a strong, resilient Humanities teacher with significant mainstream teaching experience will also be considered. 


Requirements 

  • Experience working with ASD learners or learners with SEND 
  • Experience working with learners at KS3 and KS4
  • Passionate, committed and dedicated to supporting learners with a range of SEND
  • Available for handover and for a start date of March / April
  • Teachers with a valid PGCE and Teaching Qualification will be considered for this position - essential 
  • Additional training in MAPA, Team Teach or other SEND related topics are ideal although not essential
